IS 1-2-1 / ONLINE PT OKAY FOR A COMPLETE BEGINNER?

HOW DOES ONLINE PT WORK?

Yes, absolutely! It is one of the best options for beginners. Unlike large classes where you can get lost, 1-to-1 training ensures the coach gives you their constant, direct attention to teach safe, correct form from day one. We specifically build programs that scale up from your current fitness level, instantly providing modifications for any exercise that is too difficult or causes discomfort. This personalised approach guarantees you build a strong, confident foundation, safely.

Online Personal Training (PT) provides a flexible, custom-built training experience right to your phone or computer. You start with an in-depth virtual assessment and goal-setting session. Your coach then designs a custom weekly workout plan delivered through a dedicated fitness app with video demonstrations for every movement. You track your progress, check in weekly with your coach (via video call or message), and receive ongoing feedback, adjustments, and nutritional guidance. It's the ultimate combination of expert guidance and flexible scheduling.

WHAT SHOULD I EXPECT IN MY VERY FIRST SESSION?

Your first session, whether in-person 1-to-1 or virtual online coaching, is a dedicated Strategy and Safety Call, not a workout. We begin with a deep, personal conversation to understand your specific goals, injury history, and the realities of your lifestyle. This immediately dictates the design of your custom program. Next, your coach will conduct a simple Movement Assessment - either physically observing or via video - to check your mobility and form, ensuring the program is built on a safe foundation. You then conclude the session by receiving your custom blueprint and practicing the foundational exercises with direct coaching to guarantee perfect technique, leaving you with a clear roadmap and total confidence.

WHAT IF I DON'T HAVE GYM EQUIPMENT?

No problem! Whether you train at home, in a garage, or while traveling, your program is 100% customised to the equipment you have access to. We specialise in effective programs using just bodyweight, resistance bands, dumbbells, or any specific set of equipment you own.

HOW IS ONLINE PT DIFFERENT FROM A FITNESS APP?

A standard fitness app provides generic workout videos. Our Online PT provides a live, certified coach who designs your program specifically for your body, goals, and schedule. We provide the accountability, ongoing feedback, and form correction that a generic app can't, ensuring you make measurable progress and don't risk injury.

HOW MUCH TIME DO I NEED TO COMMIT EACH WEEK?

Your plan is built around your life. During the initial consultation, we determine exactly how many days and what time blocks work best for you. Whether you have three 30-minute slots or four hour-long sessions, we design the program to fit your schedule, not the other way around.

These sessions are for anyone that requires assistance with their training, whether it is for a specific purpose or to help you get started and learn how to perform exercises safely and effectively. Help and guidance on how to achieve your goals is also offered to those that need it, with support throughout.

Alongside your 1-2-1 sessions you can also opt to have access to the PT Distinction app, with workouts tailored to you, for you to be able to use in between your sessions and help keep you consistent and achieve your goals. This app has individual videos of each exercise for you to follow, step by step.

I am all for making PT affordable for everyone and so you can split the payments up when purchasing bulk sessions.
